"I usually buy whole rotisserie chickens from here but lately the quality is becoming terrible. Im sure its probably not just this location but maybe all of the other ones as well. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. I wouldn’t recommend buying a whole chicken from Shoprite anymore. Taste was bad, chicken is noticeably smaller and it was dry. Just look at the pictures."

"Josh the deli manager was very helpful. I was looking for Toufayan lavash and they were all sold out. When I asked him he when right to the back and gave me some and restocked the whole shelf. You can really tell him and the whole department takes pride in his work. They were all very friendly and eager to help. That kind of service is less and less common these days and I appreciated it very much."

"In terms of what they have available, it’s better than some other Shop Rites. However, their aisles are so narrow, it’s ridiculous. The place is always crowded, so this doesn’t help the narrow aisles either. Also, I got kicked off a self-checkout line today after waiting, then putting my bags and some of my groceries on the counter. The front-end lady suddenly came up to me and claimed that the larger self/checkout area was still only 25 items or less, like the smaller self-checkout lanes. There are no signs distinguishing this. I’ve been coming here for the last several years and this is a first. And btw, I only had 28 items in my cart (even though she acted like I had 50 items), so regardless, I’m being nickel-and-dimed over 3 items? Yeah, ridiculous. Anything that has an item # restriction says ABOUT that number, not exact. But I guess this lady can’t count, so ok.. I’m done with this location - I’ll spend the extra 10 mins going to SR South Hackensack from now on. They at least don’t harass you."
